Bombyx Showroom

Ten years after our first collaboration on the Bombyx showroom, our relationship continues through the furniture and lighting we select for our projects. Set within a 1933 building by Stamos Papadakis in central Athens, the showroom occupies a former apartment restored by Esé Studio. The architectural intervention preserved its original spatial arrangement, patterned timber floors and mosaic tiles, retaining the intimacy and material character of an Athenian home.

Alongside the restoration, Esé Studio undertook the art direction of the showroom’s initial presentation, guiding the selection and composition of furniture and lighting in dialogue with the existing architecture. Bombyx has since continued to develop its own collection and identity, while remaining a valued collaborator in our work.
