Esé Studio is an Athens-based architecture and interior architecture practice led by partners Sotiris Mallas and Aaron Ritenour, working with a team of architects and a network of specialist collaborators. The practice undertakes residential, retail and hospitality projects throughout Greece, approaching architecture and interiors as interdependent scales of design.

The practice explores the relationship between spatial organisation, materiality and inhabitation. Each project develops through a close reading of its context, bringing existing conditions into dialogue with contemporary uses. Particular attention is given to proportion, light and the transitions between spaces, through which the character of each project takes shape.
