Incrocio Glyfada

2025

Following our work on Incrocio’s stores in Kifisia and Kolonaki, we designed its new boutique on Esperidon Square in central Glyfada.

Three glazed frontages make the interior visible from several directions and leave limited wall space for displaying clothing. The challenge was to preserve this openness while accommodating the practical needs of the store. Curved partitions sit behind the glass, forming backdrops for the window displays and incorporating hanging rails, shelves and storage on the inside. Openings between these elements frame views from the pavement into the shop.

A sculptural spiral staircase connects the ground floor, basement and mezzanine. Its continuous balustrade turns around the stair opening, with curves repeated in the surrounding walls and display edges. Views up and down the staircase make the relationship between the levels part of the experience. Fitting rooms and concealed storage are integrated into the layout, keeping the sales areas uncluttered.

Warm neutral surfaces and oak-veneered joinery give the clothing a quiet background. Palladiana marble mosaic on the ground floor and in the basement adds an irregular texture that continues onto the stair treads. Lighting built into the shelves defines the displays, while planted window bays bring greenery into the space behind the glazing.
